ICM (Intentional Camera Movement)

Intentional Camera Movement, which involves moving the camera whilst pressing the shutter, is a creative technique which enables you to make your images more abstract and more like paintings than photographs. I find it works well with landscape and seascapes. Sometimes if I am struggling to find an interesting composition, I turn to ICM to make sure my time hasn’t been wasted. I have captured a number of pleasing images like this.
