Travelling abroad provides the opportunity to experience different countries, their cultures, people and scenery, thereby providing varied and unique photographic opportunities.
Nevertheless, there are amazing landscapes, architecture and places to be photographed here in the UK and even on your own doorstep. East Anglia has some beautiful countryside, architecture and villages. The landscape is characterised by its big skies. Being a northerner at heart, though, I do hanker after some hills and mountains from time to time, so enjoy travelling further afield; Scotland being a particular favourite.
